Although I have an Hons degree in Computer Science, I am ashamed to say that I know NUTS about computers. First it was ICQ, then blogs appeared, Friendster, Facebook, Twitter.. These were all the trends of the time but I refused to jump on the bandwagon.
My excuse was that I didn't want to follow the crowd but truth be told, I was scared of technology and didn't want to look like an idiot. It was much easier to feign ignorance then admit I am a complete tech illiterate. It was ages before I got onto Friendster and when I finally did, Facebook was all the rage and I had to learn it all over again. Twitter's the in thing now and I still don't get it.
Oh well, after years and years of hearing people having blogs (heck even Mahathir & Najib are good at it!), I finally decided to start one myself (I'm not sure how long this would last but we'll see) and keep it as some sort of online journal that I can look back and think - sheesh, I DID that??
So that's the story behind starting a blog today.
